You can take the help of Google in your search by logging on the Nurses Aide Registry and putting in your state name in the search engine. This process will get you local addresses and telephone numbers of the concerned state authorities.

Thirdly, you should check your states registry site for online registration. Many states have their own online verification system that informs the status of your certification and license online. Though few states do not offer such online verification facility and in this case, you will have to get in touch with that local state registry office personally.

Fourthly, if you plan to visit personally to state Nurse Aide Registry, then you should carry along the certification number, license number, date of issue and other relevant certification documents. But if you do not have all these information then your social security number should be sufficient as it is registered against your license when license was issued to you. Most local registry offices also have an automated system that can direct you to your verification option.

• A minimum amount of fee should be paid for verification process, though the fee amount varies from state to state.
• There are two options for obtaining a true copy of certificate and license.  The license may be posted to your mailing address available with them, which may take minimum two weeks to arrive or you can request them to mail it your email id.
