Those students of Southern Illinois willing to become certified nursing aides have to go through CNA program as per the rules and regulations of US government. A quick information, the certified nursing aides are the individuals who take the precious responsibility of caring the patients. There are many recognized schools that offer CNA training in Southern IL.

The CNA programs in Southern Illinois are approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health. The normal duration of the CNA program is 120 hours, which has 80 hours of classroom theory and 40 hours of clinical instructions. The classroom study covers the necessary duties and responsibilities, whereas the clinical training makes the students aware about the necessary skills required by a nursing aide.
