Pacific High Way Kamanga CNA Training School
Pacific High Way Kamanga CNA Training School also known as Kamanga Vocational CNA School and this Certified Nurse Aide school is located at Des Moines, Washington 98198.
The school was licensed by the Washington state Chapter 28C.10 RCW.
The training program offered by the schools follows the state regulations and meets OBRA-87 requirements. The completion of training program allows a student to sit for the Washington State ans OBRA CNA Certification Test.
During training, students are instructed on various Rules and regulations that are essential for governing Health Care, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Safety and Emergencies including CPR, Basic restorative services, Infection control, Blood related diseases, HIV/ AIDS Instruction, Basic Nursing, general nursing and Personal care skills, Promotion of Residents rights, Dignity and independence and measuring of vital signs.
Prerequisites for the enrollment include:
- High school diploma or GED or pass
- Sit for the entrance test
- Attend classes for 6 hours everyday.
- Appear for daily tests
- Attending twice 8 hours Lab (skills) Sessions in class.
- Proof of free from active infectious tuberculosis.
- Complete 50 hours clinical experience in a Nursing home as internship.
- Registration with Department of Health as a Nurse Assistant.
- Undergo Background inquiries and submit recent photo .
- Free from criminal and financial discrepancies charges
- Submit TB Test or Chest X-ray proof
Registration and Cost
Tuition and Fees is $500.00 and Registration charge is $25.00.
$475 tuition fees must be paid on or before the first day of class (money orders only). Text books for curriculum are provided free for use in class.
