The City University of New York (CUNY) – York College CNA Program

York College is located in Queens County, New York state of America. The college was established in 1847 as the Free Academy. In 1961 the City University of New York was started incorporating the Free Academy and other units, which were under the Board of Higher Education at that time.

The program offered by the York College includes 130-hour CNA training program, which consist of classroom instruction, lab practice and industry internship. The successful completion of this program allows a student to appear for the New York State Department of Health Certified Nursing Assistant examination.
