CNA License in Maryland
CNA License in Maryland can be obtained by sitting for the NNAAP Examination after completion of state and OBRA-87 approved Nursing Aide training Program. The Maryland Board of Nursing bears the responsibility for managing the CNA Program in the state, which also includes GNA registration and Registry services. CNA License is mandatory for a candidate to get registered as a GNA.
Pearson VUE to have been contracted by the Maryland Board of Nursing, to develop, assess, regulate, administer and inform the results of the NNAAP licensing Exam. The American Red Cross (ARC) Maryland Chapter also jointly works with Pearson VUE to schedule and mange the examination.
