CNA License in Indiana

Are you aiming to obtain CNA License in Indiana?  If you are planning to join any hospital, long term care unit or other health care centers, you must obtain CNA License in Indiana by completing state and OBRA-87 approved 105 hours of classroom and clinical training and sit for the state CNA Competency Evaluation licensing Test. The passing of the Written and Clinical Nurse Aide exam will help the student to get certified nurse assistant license. The passing student is then also allowed to get listed with state Nursing Aide Registry.

It is also worth remembering that Ivy Tech Community College has been permitted by Indiana State Department of Health has permitted Ivy Tech Community College to develop and administer Nurse Aide licensing test.

The licensing exam in Indiana consists of two parts, including:

  • Written Test
  • Skill Test

Written test has feature of 60-70 multi choice questions and skill test consist of 5 skill demonstration on a volunteer or live model.

A candidate has to pass both exams with minimum 75% & above scoring to earn CNA License.

But, there are also certain requirements that have to be completed to become eligible to appear for the exam and they are as follows:

  • Letter of Request that include contact details of candidate, request for sitting in the test, and selection of scheduled date.
  • Original CNA licensing Application must be submitted by training program instructor.
  • Money order or facility check directed to Ivy Tech Community College. Even Visa or MasterCard payment for testing fee is allowed.

By completing these formalities, you are eligible to appear for the Certified Nurse assistant Licensing exam and obtain CNA License in North Carolina.
