The basic requirements for CNA License in Georgia include:
- Attend and Completion of accredited nurse aide training program offered by nursing homes, community colleges, home care agencies, high schools and technical colleges.
- Training program constitute classroom theoretical instructions and clinical hands-on training of 85 hours.
- Appear in National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examinations of Pearson Vue.
- Get listed with state nurse aide registry.
Pearson Vue offered National Nurse Aide Assessment Licensing examinations consist of two parts and that include Written/Oral Test and Skill Test.

Failure to work for the stipulated minimum 8 hours will make it necessary to reappear for the written/oral and skill test again.
